For some time now we have been thinking of re-branding our business. Debbie, (my wife) has been shooting with me for almost two years. She is very creative and has a keen eye. We have found that when we post photos on line or in an album a lot of the pictures are hers. I really wanted to include her in our name. It's not just Michael Neugent anymore. We also shoot with other photographers and wanted a way to include them as well, giving us more versatility and offering more varitey for our clients. So that being said, we have purchased an new domain name and are in the process of designing our new image. We are very excited about the new name and new brand. No... I'm not telling you yet; but keep checking back.

We had the honor of shooting a wedding contracted for Telgenhoff Photographers this past weekend. Yessic and Efrain are such a great couple, and we so enjoyed getting to know them and documenting their day. Their familes were wonderful, and the full mass wedding was so touching. The reception was held at Maverick Stadium in Victorville, California and was so much fun!! We got to go do some shots out on the field; this couple are real baseball fans! A Special Thank You to Telgenhoff Photographers for inviting us to do this shoot, and Huge Thank You to Yessic and Efrain for allowing us the honor of capturing their moments for them!

We were so incredibly honored to shoot this wedding. This amazing couple has a miracle story, and they are so beautiful both inside and out! Along with their family and friends, they shared an amazing time of pledging their love for a lifetime.

Mike & Kimberly's Engagement Shoot

We recently had the honor of doing an engagment shoot for Mike and Kimberly. We shot at this fabulous park in Anthem and got some great pictures! It was hard to pick which images to share, so we did a sampling of some of our favorites! We did some of the two of them; some of just the two girls, and then some great family shots as well. We got there while it was still really light out, and then stayed to capture some with the sun beginning to set. It was hot...Phoenix is very hot this time of year, but it was a beautiful location and we had a great time. This is one of the things we love so much about what we do; spending time with great people, getting to know them and giving them images of their special moments that will last them a lifetime!! Thanks guys for such a great evening! Congratulations on your upcoming wedding, we wish you much happiness!!

Phoenix Bridal Fashion Debut

We just did a booth at the Phoenix Bridal Fashion Debut yesterday; June 7th. This is a HUGE Bridal Show, and we had a wonderful time meeting so many Brides to Be! I built a new display this time for the show, and we are quite pleased with the outcome. The next show we do, we will add a few more details but all in all it came out pretty well.

We are looking forward to doing more shows here in Phoenix in the future, and are also looking forward to the many wonderful people we will meet at them. We will also try to be much better about more blogging in the future.

Carrie and Ken

On May 24th we had the honor of shooting Carrie and Ken's wedding at a beautiful lakeside setting. This wedding was gorgeous, and the colors were absolutely breathtaking! Carrie and Ken were such a pleasure to work with, and we enjoyed their family and friends as well. The entire day was filled with warmth, laughter, and just plain fun! This couple gave so much of themselves to their family and guests, and they seemed to enjoy every minute of their special day!

Thank you Carrie and Ken for allowing us to capture your special moments for you. It was truely an honor, and we had such a wonderful time documenting your day for you!!

Marika and Will

We are finally blogging again, and what a wedding to get back on the Blog with! On May 23rd we had the honor of second shooting for SceneOne Photography at Marika and Will's Wedding.

We got a call for a last minute shoot for Michael and Brandy. They had gotten married in Vegas but came back to the ranch for their reception. The Corona Ranch in Laveen, that is. What a nice location!

We had so much fun shooting the reception.
There were a lot of kids there and that always makes for some good shooting.

We loved getting to know Michael, Brandy and their family and friends.

Terrie & Bill

This was a very special couple. We so enjoyed getting to know them and their friends.

My wife and I had so much fun shooting this wedding. It was set in the gorgeous, and meticulously landscaped back yard of their very dear friends.

It was very nice and intimate. I didn't post a picture of it, but this is the first time I have had a bride wheeled out in a pink wheel barrel!! I think it took Bill by surprise! (you will have to see those pictures when the wedding posts on the website!)

It was a pretty hot day for the Northwest at about 90 or so, but the breeze kept us all cool.

Cortnei

While we were up in the Northwest for another wedding we got the opportunity to do a senior shoot with a very pretty young lady. Cortnei is a very good friend to our adopted grand daughter Stephanie. It was so nice to spend the day at the wildlife refuge with the both of them. What a great day.

It's so important that you find locations that showcase your subject.. Remember, you are not shooting the location but it should reflect the personality of your subject. In this case it was perfect.

We had so much fun running around the wildlife refuge. I think we got some amazing shots. Here are just a few.

I love location shoots. Anyone can come to a studio and get pictures done, but I think they can lack personality.

This was a perfect day!!!

All weddings are very special to me but this one was the most special! Not because of the location, or a grand setting, but I was able to use my gift of photography to capture the memories for my daughter. You can't know how much joy it brought me to see my little girl having the time of her life. Just to see her smiling so big was so rewarding.

I know all photographers think they have the most beautiful brides but you can't top a father's love and a beautiful daughter. It was a magical day!!

And what do you do after the wedding... Well, with my daughter and son in law it's off to Disneyland!! And that's what we all did.. 3 days at the Magic Kingdom with a wedding in there somewhere.

I guess I really don't have to go on!! The pictures are worth a thousand words.

I just have to say it was a very, very good time in our family's life!!!

One of the things that make this job so enjoyable is being able to meet so many great people. We are on our way to California from Washington where we just shot one of the most touching weddings. Monica and Damarcus had us all holding back the tears so we could focus on our work. It's so great to share in such a beautiful event. We had to put just a couple of shots up so we could share it with all of you. I heard another photographer say "the secret to great wedding photography is to find beautiful brides & grooms." Well we had that this weekend. They are beautiful people inside and out. We felt honored to be a part of their special day. We wish them well and want to thank them for letting us have a part.

I guess we will have to do the open house on the new office when we get back. Got a big wedding for Monica and Damascus in Washington State and then it's off to my daughter wedding in Southern California. So we will be gone for a while. We will have pictures when we get back. My daughter wants to share this time with her family at the happiest place on earth. That's right, we're going to Disneyland!! I can't think of a better way to celebrate your wedding than a day or two or three at the park. Then it's back to Washington for Terri and Bill's wedding. We will be having the open house, we just have to put it on the calender, so keep watching!!

The office is done!!!

Well it's finally done. We now have a great space to meet and a very good work space.

It was a lot of hard work to get all this in such a small space but it looks fantastic.

We are very excited about the new studio and working in the Phoenix area!

We can't wait to share our new office with all of you.

Keep your eye's open for the upcoming OPEN HOUSE we will be hosting in the very near future!!

We have an open door policy so come on by anytime we are in the office!

Well I have a new logo thanks to my son in-law. I think it's a lot better than the old one.

I have a very special wedding coming up in August. It's my own daughters wedding. That's right... she wants me to shoot the wedding. The best part is we all get to go to Disneyland after the wedding. Wow, My daughters wedding, I get to shoot and Disneyland. This is going to be great!! Watch for pictures!!

Well the long awaited blog is here... The launch of my new web site has been long in coming but it is here. I want to welcome everyone to the site and now the blog... I will be posting more as time goes on. I have relocated the studio to Mesa Arizona and I am very excited about our new office space. I will be posting pictures soon so come back often.
